Mulally talks Medicaid Expansion on KOTA 1380 AM

South Dakota Freedom Caucus Treasurer Representative Tina Mulally has been shouting from the rooftops and on the radio airwaves to warn citizens about the “ObamaCare expansion” that was on the ballot.

On October 20, 2022, Mulally was featured on the “Straight Up with Matt Smith” radio show that airs on KOTA Radio 1380 AM, warning that “expansion of Medicaid is going to bankrupt us in 10 years as a state” and the possibility of some legislators looking to “bring in a state income tax to pay for it.”

Host Matt Smith and Representative Tina Mulally during this first segment of the show discuss the influence of ObamaCare Medicaid into our culture since its formation, late efforts by Republican Senator John Wiik to stop it, the negative impacts it may have on our state and the potential fiscal cliff the state is facing in the long-term.

During the second segment of the show, Matt Smith and Mulally wrap-up their discussion on the issues of ObamaCare Expansion, including impacts on our rural healthcare providers and the problems insurance currently has on our healthcare.
