Preserve Our Libraries, Preserve Our Values
Our local libraries are more than just buildings filled with books; they are community hubs for learning, research, and fellowship. They are places where our children can grow and learn in an environment that respects and upholds our shared values.
Our local libraries are community hubs for learning, research, and fellowship.
However, the American Library Association (ALA), under its current leadership, has taken a troubling turn. It appears to be undermining our country’s Constitutional rights and attacking its moral foundation. This is particularly evident in its deliberate hostility towards religious Americans and its promotion of gender ideology to children.
The ALA’s radical agenda includes the facilitation of events like this, which are not core concerns for average library users and their families.
Join the South Dakota Freedom Caucus
The South Dakota Freedom Caucus (SDFC) has taken a stand against this radical agenda. They have called on the South Dakota Library Association to sever ties with the ALA, and categorically oppose any public funding or support, either directly or indirectly, from any South Dakota entity using taxpayer funds towards the ALA.
